A 20-year-old Tomahawk woman was injured after a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in the town of Bradley. The woman was traveling east on Highway 8 when she was struck by a westbound vehicle being driven by a 46-year-old Ringle man attempting to turn onto the southbound ramp of Highway 51. Portions of Highway 8 were closed for about an hour as the scene was cleared.

Two people were injured following a crash on Highway 17 at Barnes Creek. An 84-year-old Gleason man was transported to Aspirus Wausau Hospital while a 59-year-old Merrill woman was transported to Ascension Good Samaritan. None of the injuries were considered life threatening. Highway 17 was closed for about an hour as the scene was cleared.

Deputies arrested a 47-year-old Neopit man after investigating a suspicious vehicle Monday evening in the town of Scott. A check on the passenger showed he was wanted by the Shawano County Sheriff for failing to pay child support.

A 35-year-old Wausau man was uninjured when his pickup, pulling a trailer with a snowmobile, entered the median and rolled over on Highway 51 near Highway J Wednesday morning. Traffic was restricted for an hour as the crash was cleared.

A 62-year-old Merrill woman was uninjured after her vehicle was struck by a log truck on Highway 64 near Deer Run Avenue in the town of Pine River. The woman pulled out in front of the westbound truck causing the crash. She was cited for failing to yield.

A 51-year-old Schofield woman was arrested Monday morning on charges of disorderly conduct and bail jumping.

A 25-year-old town of Merrill man was arrested on Thursday on two misdemeanor charges related to animal cruelty. The complete information was posted on the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

A 59-year-old West Allis man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia Friday evening after a traffic stop on Highway 86 in the town of Tomahawk.

An 18-year-old Manawa woman was injured Friday evening after a crash on Highway 51 near Nibler Road just before 9 p.m. A pickup towing a snowmobile trailer left the roadway and crashed after hitting black ice.

A 28-year-old Kaukauna man was arrested Saturday evening after deputies investigated a crash on Highway 51 near Highway S in the town of Bradley at 10:30 p.m. A check on a passenger showed he was wanted on a felony warrant in Outagamie County related to drugs and bail jumping. No injuries were reported in the crash.

Repeated snow storms caused issues on the roadways last week. The dispatch center handled nearly 50 calls of crashes.  Twenty slide-offs were also checked on.

Four people reported striking deer last week.
