STEVENS POINT – Sentry, a mutual insurer based in Stevens Point, has named Amy Rislov its new chief human resources officer.

Rislov comes to Sentry by way of SSM Health Wisconsin, where she was the system vice president of human resources. Prior to joining SSM, Rislov was with Aurora Health Care for more than 21 years, holding progressively responsible roles in human resources and operations before serving as chief human resources officer her last four years there.

“Amy has the right background, experience, and management style for Sentry,” said Pete McPartland, chairman of the board, president, and CEO at Sentry, in a news release. “She understands that Sentry is a people business built one relationship at a time by generations of talented, dedicated and hard-working associates.”

Rislov will be responsible for all aspects of human resources and will serve as a member of Sentry’s senior leadership team.

Throughout her career, Rislov, a native of Wausau, has been an active community leader. She is currently a board member for Next Door, a nonprofit focused on improving literacy and school readiness for children ages birth to 5 in Milwaukee.
