Adults can learn all the ins and outs of Medicare eligibility during a free informative event on February 17 from 5-7 p.m. at the Hatley Branch, 435 Curtis Ave., Hatley. Registration required by calling 1-888-486-9545.

The library will begin offering its next round of LENA Start sessions on February 19 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. and on February 20 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. Classes will be held weekly for 10 weeks. Parents wanting to enroll in LENA Start (benefitting children ages 0-32 months) should call 715-848-1457.


Kids, tweens and teens can learn the basics of finger knitting, then make their own finger-knitted accessories like armbands, necklaces, scarves, and more on February 19 from 3-5 p.m. at the Marathon City Branch, 515 Washington St., Marathon City.
