UPDATE: Police say a man reported missing in Stevens Point has contacted his family and is no longer considered a missing person.

Police in Stevens Point are asking for the public’s help locating a missing Stevens Point man last seen the morning of Feb. 11.

Sylvan Dyken, 22, has autism and his family is concerned for his well being.

Stevens Point police say Dyken appears to have left of his own volition, but officers are attempting to locate him and check his welfare.

Family members say they have received text messages and emails that appear to be from Dyken, whose last known location was in Pittsburgh, Penn.

Anyone with information on Dyken’s location is urged to contact the Stevens Point Police Department at 715-346-1500 and ask to speak with a shift supervisor.
