One person is dead and a second person is hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in the Wood County village of Auburndale, according to a news release.
The crash happened Saturday morning at the intersection of Hwy. 10 and Hwy. P.
Police say a westbound van on Hwy. 10 driven by 57-year-old Mark Smith collided with a pickup that was northbound on Hwy. P.
Smith died at the scene.
The driver of the pickup, whose name was not released, was transported to Marshfield Medical Center for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
