A 52-year-old man from Canada is facing multiple charges after allegedly plowing into 13 parked vehicles on Hwy. 47 in Lake Tomahawk.

Police were called at 6:09 p.m. Friday to a report of a southbound vehicle that struck multiple unoccupied vehicles between Choate Boulevard and Violet Drive. Oneida County Sheriff’s officials identified the driver of the striking vehicle, a 2017 Dodge Ram pickup, as Robert Allan Johnson, of Thunder Bay.

Johnson was arrested on felony charges of second degree recklessly endangering safety and was taken to the Oneida County Jail. He was released Saturday, Feb. 15, after posting a $7,166.80 cash bond. He was also cited for recklessly endangering safety with a motor vehicle, hit and run on an unattended vehicle, failure to keep a vehicle under control, inattentive driving, unsafe land deviation, disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle and operating while under the influence, police said.

Traffic on Hwy. 47 was rerouted for about an hour after the incident.

No one was injured.

An initial appearance for Johnson is set for 1:15 p.m. Monday in Oneida County Circuit Court.
