The Badger State Games’ Winter Games continues this weekend with competitions in cornhole and pickleball. Those who medal with a gold, silver or bronze are then eligible to compete in the State Games of America taking place in Ames, Iowa, in 2021.

Here’s what’s coming up this weekend.

 Cornhole (Bean Bag Toss)

This multi-day event starts today, Feb. 21, with a women’s, juniors, and seniors singles tournament. The BSG also invites everyone to participate in an open blind draw tournament today, Feb. 21, which with entry also makes you eligible to win hourly raffle prize drawings.

Double-elimination tournaments for singles and doubles begins on Feb. 22. On-site registration is available, but limited. More details available at https://www.visitwausau.com/Cornhole.

Pickleball

BSG and Sentry World have teamed up to host a series of tournaments for men’s, women’s and mixed teams. Play begins the morning of Feb. 22 for men’s and women’s doubles teams and will conclude later that evening. Play will continue Feb. 23 and will consist of a mixed doubles tournament. All events will be split into different divisions based on player skill ratings. More details available at https://www.visitwausau.com/pickleball.
