RIB MOUNTAIN — Granite Peak Ski Area is gearing up for spring break on the ski hill.

Granite Peak, which, historically, receives the most snow each March, offers 68 runs spanning 209 acres of terrain that are accessible by high-speed chairlifts.

Returning this March are Granite Peak’s Family Fest weekends, including lift tickets, lodging and rentals for one price (beginning at $597 for a family of four). Family Fest activities include fireworks, a petting zoo, bonfires, skiing with Shreddy Teddy, caricatures and live music. Family Fest packages are now available in two-, three- and four-day options beginning the weekend of Feb. 28.

For college spring breakers, Granite Peak offers Ski & Stay packages. as well as mid-week deals on lift tickets and lodging combos starting at $216. Official College Week at Granite Peak begins March 9 and features free massages, a bonfire, live bands, Brew Fest, night skiing and live bands daily. Other spring events include:

  • March 7 – Live band: Rod Tuffcurls & The Benchpress

  • March 14 – Brew Fest tickets here
