Horace Mann music instructor Dan Larson said he couldn’t be more pleased with the progress of the choirs this year. “The energy, enthusiasm and positive attitudes have made this year one of the best ever in the Horace Mann vocal music department,” Larson said. The National Memorial Concert will also feature a high school mass choir and two speakers who are 9/11 survivors. A visit to Ground Zero, as well as a tour of the 9/11 museum is an integral part of the performance experience.
