WAUSAU – The national headquarters of Rocket Industrial now occupies a former showroom in Wausau’s Third Street Lifestyle Center.

The space will serve as a launching pad for the next wave of growth for the expanding packaging distributor, according to Rocket Industrial. The nearly 12,000 square foot space at 200 Washington Street will allow for future expansion. Rocket Industrial’s former space at 8101 International Drive in Wausau has been purchased by the custom sign firm Graphic House Inc.

“It’s exciting to be in Nike’s former space. They are a performance company and, in a slightly different way, so are we. Our idea of performing is to cut our customers’ costs while also getting closer to zero-waste, a truly achievable goal,” Rocket Industrial President Ryan Gallagher said in a news release. “We’ll continue to work passionately in this new space to build a rewarding, meaningful and fun place for our team to work.”

Rocket Industrial also relocated its local distribution center into a larger facility at 401 North 72nd Ave., Wausau, formerly occupied by Footlocker.com/Eastbay. The larger space now accommodates an expanded packaging equipment service facility and packaging test lab.
