A 28-year-old Merrill woman was arrested Monday on numerous charges after a traffic stop in the town of Scott. K9 Poncho was called to the scene and he alerted to the odor of illegal drugs in the vehicle. The woman was arrested on a felony charge of possession of methamphetamine along with four felony counts of bail jumping, four misdemeanor counts of bail jumping, resisting/obstructing and a warrant through Portage County.

A 37-year-old Tomahawk man was cited for first offense operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated Monday night.

A 55-year-old Irma man was arrested Wednesday evening on felony charges of second degree sexual assault of an unconscious victim. The charge carries an enhancer for being an additional sex crime against a person who is already listed as a lifetime sex offender.

A 47-year-old Oconomowoc woman received non-life threatening injuries Friday afternoon after a snowmobile crash in the town of Corning. The woman was riding on a trail near the intersection of Joe Snow Road and Highway 64 /107 when her sled struck a stump and then trees.

A 28-year-old man from Texas is in the Lincoln County Jail after a deputy stopped him as he drove the wrong way on Highway 51 Friday evening. Just before midnight, cell 911 callers reported a vehicle traveling south in the northbound lanes of Highway 51 near Merrill. The driver was arrested on a charge of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and was cited for operating while intoxicated and driving the wrong way on a highway.

A 26-year-old Merrill woman was arrested Sunday morning for violating the terms of her probation. Deputies went to an establishment in the town of Merrill and found the woman drinking in violation of her probation rules. A short time later a 37-year-old Merrill man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he made threats to patrons of an establishment believing they were responsible for the arrest.

A 26-year-old Merrill woman was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property Sunday afternoon after deputies responded to a disturbance in the town of Merrill. She was also charged with felony bail jumping for violating conditions of a bond issued in Marathon County Court for a drug charge.
