Media and police sources in Milwaukee are reporting “multiple casualties” in a shooting at the Molson Coors Beverage headquarters on Highland Boulevard in Milwaukee.

The shooting was reported just after 2 p.m. to a report of an active shooter at the building, 4115 W. State St., Milwaukee.

Milwaukee Fire Department commanders reported that multiple people have been shot, according to emergency scanner traffic. Fire officials are at the scene with ballistic gear and Milwaukee police have also responded, urging people to stay clear of the scene.

Police scanner activity indicates one suspect is down, though it is unclear whether any additional suspects are at large. WISN is reporting that the suspect is a former employee at the company.

Local media is reporting that up to 8 people have been shot, including the shooter.

A nearby elementary school, Marquette High School and Harley Davidson in Milwaukee have been placed on lockdown.

Also responding to the shooting: officers from the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department, Marquette University Police Department and the U.S. Marshals service, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Police blocked off the scene at North 35th and West State. Highway 175 was also closed at West State and Vliet.
