WAUSAU — The craft beer industry has a rich, diverse history, and it’s never been a better time to be a craft beer lover in central Wisconsin. At 10 a.m. today, Feb. 27, Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Route 51” host Shereen Siewert welcomes microbiologist and historian Terese Barta of Stevens Point, Lyn Kearns from the Mosinee Brewing Co. and Zach Kubicheck from Sawmill Brewing Co. in Merrill for a deep dive into the region’s craft beer styles, history and allure.

From the science behind the craft to an explanation of style and taste, these three guests will leave you with a deeper appreciation, knowledge and enthusiasm for Wisconsin’s most iconic beverage.
