WAUSAU — It’s all about bees.

In partnership with the Marathon County Beekeepers Association, Northcentral Technical College will present a day full of expert speakers and local vendors with content for everyone from beginners to advanced beekeepers on March 14 at Center for Health Sciences – NTC Wausau Campus, Conference Room 1004 · 1000 W Campus Drive, Wausau.

Whether you are a beekeeper or someone interested in learning about honeybees, anyone can participate. You will get the chance to learn about different aspects of beekeeping and incorporating the value of honey into your life. Learn about new gadgets from vendors, cooking with honey, and nutrition of honey and bee culture.

Registration begins at 8:15 a.m. with educational breakout sessions throughout the day on such topics as beekeeping equipment, queen monitoring and products of the hive.

Speakers include Susan Cobey, an international authority in the field of honey bee breeding and instrumental insemination, and Chris Hansen, owner of Hansen Honey Farm in Rhinelander.
