Police in Lincoln County say a man died Saturday after being struck by a falling tree at a logging operation.
Deputies responded at about 7:20 p.m. to 911 call from a logging operation off South End Road, near Big Hill Road, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
Police say Bruce Broeking Sr. was struck while cutting down trees in the area.
Broeking was pronounced dead at the scene by Lincoln County Coroner Paul Proulx.
