WAUSAU — MCDEVCO has hired a new executive director, the business development organization announced this week.
Vicki Resech began her role on March 1 after serving as interim executive director since June 1, 2019. She also has served the organization as its director of operations.
In her new position, Resech will continue working to grow MCDEVCO’s membership and coordinate with local financial institutions using the Marathon County Revolving Loan Fund and the Community Bank Fund to provide $3.4 million in GAP financing to entrepreneurs in north central Wisconsin. She also will work with Marathon County municipalities providing economic development support.
Upcoming open house
MCDEVCO will host an open house from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. April 1 at its main office at 1415 Merrill Ave., Wausau.
