Snowmobile and ATV trails have closed in zones 2, 3 and 4 as of 8 a.m. today, March 4.
Zone 1 will close to snowmobile and winter ATV use at 8 a.m. March 6.
Zone 5 trails will be evaluated again on March 5 for potential closures, according to the Wausau and Marathon County Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
If clubs have closed their trails in an open zone because of safety concerns – the trail is closed.
These closures likely mark the end of the snowmobile season.
