All Marathon County snowmobile trails to close March 6

As of 8 a.m. March 6, all snowmobile trails in Marathon County will be closed for the season.

The ATV/UTV trails through the Burma County Forest Unit and the Edgar/Fenwood Trail will be closed between March 15 and April 30, according to the Wausau and Marathon County Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department. This closure may be extended if extremely wet conditions are present and resources damage is a concern.
