Officials confirm at least one person is hospitalized after a plane crash at the Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport.

The crash was reported at about 8:15 a.m. Thursday and involved a plane contracted through FedEx and owned by Michigan-based CSA Air, officials said. The plane is a single engine Cessna 208 Caravan.
WJFW reports the aircraft flipped over and came to rest between a taxiway and a runway.

Airport Rescue and Fire were the first to respond to the scene, followed by crews from the Rhinelander Fire Department and the Rhinelander Police Department. Police have secured the perimeter of the airport, which is expected to remain closed until midnight.

Investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration are en route to the airport.

This is a developing story.
