Dozens of volunteer painters showed up Saturday to put the finishing touches on a planned mural for a downtown Wausau building.
The current Rise Up mural will be displayed on the Frontier Communications building, 521 N. Fourth St., Wausau. The project, which aims to illustrate the transition from addiction to recovery, is slated to be unveiled in late spring to early summer.
The next public painting event will center on a new mural, to be placed on Whitewater Music Hall.
