Schools in Medford will be closed on Monday, March 16 amid a rise of respiratory illnesses, according to school officials.
Monday was the only scheduled day of school for the week, with spring break beginning Tuesday, March 17.
School officials say the closure is planned “due to a rise in respiratory illnesses and out of an abundance of care.”
Buildings will be deep cleaned during the planned break.
