NEWS RELEASE — Because of the increased risk of contracting coronavirus (COVID-19) in a large-group setting of more than 50 people, and following the recommendations of the CDC and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service is taking the following actions for upcoming WIPPS events:

• March 30 – Addressing Immigration Issues: A Community Dialogue, to be held at Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. This event has been postponed. When a new date has been determined, we will send notifications via email, the WIPPS website and our Facebook page.

• April 6 – John Bolton, at the UW Center for Civic Engagement. This event has been rescheduled for June 9 at 7 p.m. at the UW Center for Civic Engagement in Wausau.Tickets will become available on May 18 at 9 a.m. at wipps.org/johnboltonwausau.

• April 28-29 – Toward One Wisconsin 2020 Inclusivity Conference, at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Green Bay. This event will be rescheduled for the fall. When a new date has been determined, we will send notifications via email, the WIPPS website and our Facebook page.
