UPDATED: Multiple crews responded late Tuesday to a blaze that broke out at a Marathon-area wood supply company.
The structure fire was reported at about 10:05 p.m. at Marth Wood Supply on Hwy. 107. The company, which lists a Marathon City address, is several miles north of Marathon near Little Chicago.
Officials said a box-level alarm has been issued, meaning multiple agencies have been sent to the scene. Personnel from at least five fire departments were paged along with an ambulance from Athens, according to emergency scanner traffic. Marathon, Corning, Maine, Texas, Athens and SAFER are among the agencies responding as of 10:27 p.m.
There’s no word yet on possible injuries.
