Safe volunteering. The safety and well-being of staff, volunteers and community members that each agency in our area serves is United Way of Marathon County’s biggest concern at this time. We are closely watching the developments of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and assessing the situation daily, following all recommendations from the federal government, Center for Disease Control and Marathon County Health Department. In conjunction with local health officials, we are working to slow the spread of the person-to-person transmission, particularly those who are most vulnerable to infection and severe disease. Small groups (two people), Solo and Safe volunteering is crucial if allowed. Guidelines below will help you access which needs you may be able to help meet as you visit the volunteer site at http://unitedwaymc.galaxydigital.com/.
