A 29-year-old man was injured Thursday after his hand was caught in a machine at a Kronenwetter manufacturing plant.

Emergency crews were called just before 5:30 a.m. to G3 Industries, 1450 Dons Way. The man was alert and conscious when first responders were paged to the scene but suffered significant injuries to his hand, according to preliminary reports.

G3 Industries Inc. is a privately held company that manufactures and supplies custom wire forms, welded assemblies, machined components and other parts. The company was formed in 2006 as a merger of Wire Maid Manufacturing and RoBand Corporation, according to the organization’s website.

The man’s name has not been released and his current condition has not been specified at this time.
