WAUSAU — United Way of Marathon County along with Peoples State Bank recently assembled Senior Sunshine Kits to deliver through Mobile Meals to elderly homebound community members. This is solo volunteer project that is safe in the time of social distancing.
Sunshine Kits are a simple way to brighten someone’s day and provide simple activities for seniors to do in their home. The kits include a puzzle book (word search, Sudoku or crossword), pen, magnetic clip, chap stick, lemon drops or lifesavers and Dominos.
