Carl Frystak
Carl Frystak, 71, returned to his heavenly home on April 6, 2020.
His greatest joys in life were his relationships with God, his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his parents, his siblings and all his family and friends.
He lived a blessed life with his loving wife of 30 years, Debbie, proudly owning his own billiard service company, always cherishing being “Dad” to his children and “Papa” to his deeply loved grandchildren.
A devoted man who prayed daily for all of his family and always extended an abundance of love, admiration and appreciation for his stepson, son-in-law and daughters-in-law as if they were his own children.
His gentle sole is greatly missed by all he touched in his many caring ways, who celebrate that he is at peace with his creator.
In keeping with his nature, his service and burial is private. Those wishing to honor his life are welcome to make a donation to St. Therese Parish, Rothschild, Wisconsin, where he found solace and peace.
Donald Maul
Donald Maul, 82, of Rib Mountain passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2020, at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.
He was born on Christmas day in 1937 in Flint, Michigan, one of 12 children born to David and Rose (Ehrlich) Maul. He graduated from Flint Northern High School. On Aug. 20, 1960, he married JoAnn Hill. Donald attended Michigan Technological University and earned a degree in civil engineering. He started his career as a stress analyst for the California Highway Department. He returned to Michigan Tech to work on his masters in engineering mechanics. Following that, the family returned to California, where he proudly worked on engineering the first successful U.S. missile. Donald and his family returned to Michigan where he worked for both Continental Aviation and Eaton Research for over 10 years.
The family moved to Wisconsin in the late 1970s and he became the vice president of engineering at Hammerblow Corp. in Wausau. As a final career move, he and his wife became franchise owners for many fast food restaurants in the central Wisconsin area until 2014. Donald will be remembered fondly for his sense of humor, green thumb, his love of dancing and woodworking skills.
Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Maul of Rib Mountain; two daughters, Robina Maul of Schofield, and Marcel Maul of Madison; three grandchildren, Laurea, Ethan and Cole; and one great-grandchild, Delaney.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Michigan. Brainard Funeral Home – Everest Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.

Patrick Wilson
Patrick J. Wilson, 69, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital due to lingering health issues. He was born on Aug. 27, 1950, in Wausau, the son of Elizabeth Wilson and William Wilson.
Patrick will always be remembered for his love of nature, animals, friends and family. Patrick enjoyed cooking, carpentry, sports, playing cards, photography and golf. He, also, had a love for music and a passion to read.
Patrick was married on Aug. 11, 2007, to Lynn Halida. Although they later divorced, they remained close friends and together raised their beloved dog, Hooch. Lynn and Pat enjoyed traveling together, having made many trips across the United States. Patrick will always be remembered for his ability to tell stories of his many adventures over the years, his kindness and his ability to meet new people.
Patrick had a strong faith and professed his love for Jesus. He received pastoral care from Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. He also was an active member in A.A. for a better part of his life. He felt very blessed to have known and shared so many experiences with both his A.A. and Al-anon friends. Patrick loved to make people smile and provided much encouragement and support for the newcomer. He truly had a zest for life.
Patrick is survived by his brothers; Michael (Georgia) Wilson, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Mark (Theresa) Wilson and their children, Laura and Joseph, Middleton, Wisconsin; as well as many cousins. He also is survived by his ex-wife and very special friend, Lynn, his beloved dog, Hooch, and his very special friend John, who spent many hours caring for him over the last few years. Pat is preceded in death by his parents, as well as many aunts and uncles.
