State health officials say the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 rose to 3,341 on Sunday, up from 2,267 one week ago.

The death toll rose to 144 Sunday, up from 137 on Saturday.

Statewide, 35,916 tests have come back negative. That’s an increase from 34,680 negative tests reported Saturday.

Hospitalizations increased to 974, up from 950 on Saturday. Health officials said 29% of people who have tested positive for coronavirus in Wisconsin have been hospitalized.

In Marathon County, health officials report 13 cases with one fatality as of Sunday afternoon.
