The U.S. Chamber of Commerce foundation will open on April 20 the application period for the recently launched Save Small Business Fund. This fund is designed to provide grants to small employers who are struggling with the COVID-19 outbreak.

Funded by corporate and philanthropic partners, the Save Small Business Fund is a collective effort to provide $5,000 grants to as many small employers as possible.

To qualify, the small business must employ between three and 20 individuals, must be located in an economically vulnerable community (there is a zip code search on SaveSmallBusiness.com that determines this) and must have been harmed financially by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The application will be short, requiring about 10 minutes to complete. You will need your business’s W-9 form. Grants will be awarded weekly, but only one application is needed to be eligible for funding.
