Two men were discovered dead inside a vehicle that crashed near Hwy. 8 in the Lincoln County town of Wilson, police said.
At 2:30 p.m. Saturday, a passerby called police after finding the vehicle, which appeared to have left the roadway and crashed near the intersection of Hwy. 8 and CTH CC, according to a news release.
When deputies arrived, they found the two men inside. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by Lincoln Co. Coroner Paul Proulx.
Names are being withheld pending notification of family members. Sheriff’s officials expect to release both names later today.
There’s no word yet on what caused the crash.
