Crews from multiple fire departments were called Sunday to a house fire in the Lincoln County town of Pine River.
The fire, at W2784 County Hwy. P, an address west of Hwy. WW, began as a grease fire in the kitchen and quickly spread, according to emergency scanner traffic. At least five area fire departments, including crews from Marathon County, were called to assist in fighting the blaze.
As of 5:30 p.m. crews remained on scene. There’s no word yet on injuries.
