Copperleaf Care: Relief Caregivers for the Elderly. Current staff may be taxed or unable to care for residents as the crisis continues. Volunteers can receive training for the basics of caring for elderly. Contact Jarett Yach, executive director at 714-340-6306 or at [email protected].

The Neighbors’ Place: Guest Intake. Volunteers will work outdoors and collect basic household information from guests. They will then bring a pre-packed grocery cart to a table where guests will load their groceries into their own vehicles. Safety gear and protocols are adhered to. In-Kind Donated Items Needed

Response to COVID-19. For items that people would like to donate, call the agency first; please consider ordering online and having in-kind donations shipped to the agency. Call ahead and arrange with the coordinator.

Good News Project: Donations of Medical Equipment. Good News Project will still be taking donations of medical equipment and office supplies. Call first to set up a drop off time. Call 715-843-5985 or email [email protected].

Boys and Girls Club of the Wausau Area: Build a Little Free Library Box. Build a Little Free Library Box to be positioned outside the building where items can be placed to be distributed in a safe, non- interactive way. If you can build one, and have experience doing so, contact Kim at 715-845-2582, ext. 215.

First Presbyterian Church: Wausau: Sunday Supper Gift Card Donations. With current restrictions to groups gathering to make supper, the supper program is ordering prepared food from local restaurants or grocery stores for “take out” meals on Sunday evenings. If you can donate a gift card or two for a local restaurant or for a grocery store (to buy fresh produce), contact Jeffery at 715-571-3418.
