A portion of the Riverfront pedestrian trail in Wausau will close on Monday to allow for construction at the site, according to a city news release issued Friday.
The closure will affect the Barker Stewart Island Bridge to the pedestrian bridge over the channel.
Crews will begin work on Monday, May 11. The trail should reopen by Tuesday.
