A late-season snowstorm is expected to sweep through the area overnight, dumping up to four inches of snow before moving to the east.

The forecast prompted the National Weather Service in Green Bay to issue a winter weather advisory for several counties including Marathon. Some slush accumulations could make for slippery roads and sidewalks.

The weather advisory is in effect from midnight until 8 a.m. Sunday.

Rain will arrive Saturday night an change to snow by midnight.

Plan on slippery road conditions until the snow and slush melt. Motorists should slow down and plan for extra time while traveling Sunday morning.
