TuHue Pha
TuHue Pha, a musician and DJ, and resident of Weston, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly on May 3, 2020, at the age of 37.
Tu was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on June 8, 1982, to Toua Pha (deceased) and Mai Doua Moua. He was a devoted musician and worked at Wausau Supply Co. He enjoyed writing and playing music for all to hear, and making people laugh. He often played at local clubs and bars in Wisconsin and Minnesota and was known as a skilled and intuitive musician among his listeners. He was a spiritual man. A great person indeed. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him well.
He is survived by his mother, Mai Doua Moua; his brothers, Roger and Kong Pha; his sisters, Mai Lee and Mai See Pha; nephews, Jaden and Josiah Pha, Jedrek Lee, and Andrew Yang; and his niece Sophia Yang. He is further survived by his stepfamily, including his stepfather, Khoua Pao Lee; stepbrothers, Pheng, Phong, Keng, Teng, Houa, Yee, Soua and Yer Lee; and stepsisters Mai Neng, Mai Yang, Ann, and Zoua.
A private funeral service will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Brainard Funeral Home – Everest Chapel. Lucy Kordus
Lucy Kordus, 97, of Wausau passed away on May 11, 2020, at Stonecrest Residence under Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
Lucy was born in Brokaw, Wisconsin, on Nov. 17, 1922, to the late Florian and Nettie (Manicke) Kowalefski. She married Edward Kordus, Sr. on Oct. 4, 1941. They raised two boys, Ed Jr. and Ron, and three girls, Ramona, Paulette and Diana.
Lucy was a life-long Wausau resident. She retired from Wausau Hospital after 29 years as a surgical technician. She was a member of the Wausau VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 388 as well as volunteering for the Burns Post 388. She coordinated the SHARE Program for many years as well as serving as an on-site assistant for Forest Park Village. She loved her family more than words can express.
She is survived by her children, Edward (Pat) Kordus, Jr., Ronald (Liz) Kordus, Ramona (Eric) Strom, and Paulette (Dale) Goytowski; as well as 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; daughter, Diana; sister, Helen; brothers Florian and George; as well as grandson, Brian Goytowski.
A private family memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020, at Brainard Funeral Home – Everest Chapel. The Rev. Mark Pierce of Saint Michael Parish, Wausau, will preside. Entombment will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum, Wausau. Albert Miller
Albert A. Miller, 74, of Wausau died on May 9, 2020, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Albert was born on Oct. 18, 1945, to the late Albert F. and Linda (Eake) Miller.
Albert was a Vietnam veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps and a 30-year veteran of the Wausau Police Department. Al loved the outdoors and being in the Colorado mountains.
Albert is survived by his children, Michael and Frances Miller, Meeker, Colorado, and Bryan Miller, Wausau, Wisconsin. Al is further survived by his eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Delphine “Del” Gabrielski
Delphine “Del” Gabrielski, 94, Wausau, died Saturday, May 9, 2020, at the Hospice House, Wausau.
She was born Oct. 23, 1925, in Bevent, daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Trzebiatowski) Lewandowski. On June 19, 1948, she married Ervin Gabrielski at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. He preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1981.
For many years, Del was an active member of St. Anne Parish volunteering in many activities, including Polka Fest Dinners, Friday Fish Fry and funeral dinners.
Survivors include her son, John Gabrielski, Mosinee, daughter, Mary (Peter) Chaston, Kearney, Missouri; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Lt. Col. USAF Retired, Andrew (Jessica) Gabrielski, Owings, Maryland, and their sons, Grant and Greyson Gabrielski, Julie Gabrielski, Brooklyn, New York, and her sons, Henry and Thomas Buonamia, Gayle Gabrielski, Richfield, Minnesota, Valerie Marsh, Kansas City, Missouri, and her family, Sophia, Jonathan and Emily Marsh.
Besides her parents and husband, Del was preceded in death by a grandson-in-law, Andrew Marsh, three brothers, Edmund, Henry and Florian Lewandowski and seven sisters, Theresa Dombeck, Anna Lewandowski, Irene Nevinski, Mayme Rozmenoski, Pauline Rolnicki, Esther Soczka and Virginia Kristof. Del was the last in her immediate family to pass away.
In accordance with Delphine’s wishes, a traditional funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date at St. Anne Catholic Church. An obituary with scheduled time and dates will be published after the COVID-19 quarantine restrictions have been lifted. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
