EDGAR – Scotch Creek Woodland Preserve is the third and most recent free marked trail system featured by Ironbull.

The trail system is near Edgar High School and open to the public. Participants can visit the trail anytime and as often as they want to complete the free marked 2.5 mile course between May 15 and May 25.

The new course in Edgar will feature the Choose Your Own Adventure concept highlighting both the ski and singletrack trails and will offer roughly a 4K trail.

The Scotch Creek Woodland Preserve has no trail fees, but trail users are encouraged to consider making a donation to help fund trail maintenance.

All participants should register to measure community impact for these marked courses. To reward individuals for registering, Ironbull offers several prizes for participants.

Ironbull’s Island Hop Adventure, which includes free marked 5K (3.1 mile), 2 mile, and 1 mile walk / run options continues in downtown Wausau through May 17.

Ironbull is working with the Athens Trail Association to open a marked course at Erbach Park from May 29 to June 14.
