Samoset Council raises over $16K for food banks

Samoset Council will distribute more than $16,000 to 31 local food banks following the annual Scouting for Food project in 13 counties.

Food banks will receive checks ranging from $19 to more than $2,800 depending on where the money was donated, according to Samoset Council.
