STEVENS POINT – Delta Dental of Wisconsin will build its new corporate headquarters at the Portage County Business Park in Stevens Point, bringing its employees and business lines under one roof, the company announced this week.

The groundbreaking is expected in June with a completion date targeted for late 2021.

Delta Dental has a more than 50-year legacy as part of the Stevens Point community and will continue its investment in central Wisconsin with this new campus, the company said in a news release. The building will create efficiencies by consolidating Delta Dental’s two office locations, currently at Hoover Road and in downtown Stevens Point.

The headquarters will be the home to more than 300 employees and includes Delta Dental of Wisconsin, Wyssta Services, a subsidiary that sells and administers individual and family dental plans on behalf of seven additional Delta Dental member companies, DeltaVision (Wyssta Insurance Company), NorthWinds Technology Solutions, and the Delta Dental of Wisconsin Foundation.

“The community of Stevens Point is the fabric of Delta Dental of Wisconsin and will continue to be our future,” said Pamela Gartmann, vice president, administration, of Delta Dental of Wisconsin, in the release. “The new headquarters is essential to continue our mission to the members and communities we serve. We have outgrown our current workspaces and don’t have capacity for future employees. Our new facility will foster a collaborative and innovative environment to attract and retain employees from our region and beyond.”

The new headquarters will be three stories and 133,000 square feet. The building is accessible to city of Stevens Point bus lines and bike paths.
