United Way RSVP: Licensed Nurses for Blood Pressure Screenings. Greet individuals, perform blood pressure screenings, repeat tests as needed for out-of-normal range findings, document results, and discuss BP result and its significance with the individual. Boys and Girls Club of Wausau Area: Teach Virtual STEM and More!  Teach a short session of something musical, art-related, focusing on STEM, games like chess, or other activities or skills. Video record yourself and the Boys and Girls Club will share with students. Or sign up to teach something in real time. The Neighbors’ Place: Guest Intake. Volunteers will work outdoors and collect basic household information from guests. They will then bring a pre-packed grocery cart to a table where guests will load their groceries into their own vehicles. Safety gear and protocols are adhered to. Good News Project: Donations of Medical Equipment.  Good News Project is taking donations of medical equipment and office supplies, but you need to call first to set up a drop off time. Call 715-843-5985 or email [email protected].
