The River Runs Wild Virtual Run & Walk will be held now through June 27.
The goal is to keep people motivated to stay active while supporting local businesses. You can complete this run (or walk) anytime between now and June 27 from anywhere. You can also break up the distance however you want.
The event will benefit programs that assist small, locally owned businesses in partnership with the Wausau River District.
Although you may not be able to physically race with your friends, encourage them to join in and share this Facebook event.
Distance options for a single event include 5K, 10K, half marathon, marathon, or 50K. And in this virtual event you can even spread the distance out over multiple days.
Cost
Registration costs $20 per person per event or $50 per person for four weeks. Racers may pre-print their bib and will receive a commemorative event bib and sticker and discount to any 2020 Ironbull event.
