WAUSAU — In an effort to support businesses in the region, Fully Promoted is selling hats and shirts branded with “Wausau Strong” for $20 each. All of the proceeds from the sales of these items will be directed to a new fund that will distribute grants, not loans, to local businesses.
Fully Promoted will select a recipient each time the fund reaches $1,000. To enter, businesses must submit a bio about their company along with a summary of how they would use the money. Bios should be sent to [email protected].
“From the beginning of COVID-19, our businesses, Fully Promoted and Goin’ Postal were able to remain open and we have been blessed with continued business from the Wausau community,” said Mike Besaw, owner of Fully Promoted and Goin’ Postal in Wausau. “However, we have seen and heard of many small businesses in our area struggling during this time and we want to help them out. With the purchase of “Wausau Strong” hats and shirts, we can give back to our small businesses and hopefully this will help them to regain some of what was lost during COVID-19.”
Hats and shirts can be purchased at tinyurl.com/wausaustrong. Orders may be picked up at Fully Promoted on Wausau’s west side or can be shipped for a flat rate of $6.95. Donations will be accepted at Fully Promoted for this program.
Winners will be selected by staff from both Fully Promoted and the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce. Businesses may only win once.
