United Way of Marathon County: Week of Action.  Kick off the summer with service.  Find a virtual volunteer opportunity for your team or family during Week of Action, June 15-19. Go to or for more information.

Faith in Action: Volunteer Drivers.  Faith in Action provides rides to medical appointments and grocery shopping for seniors. Safe protocols are in place with this much needed in-person opportunity to serve older people. Contact Jamie at 715-848-8783 or

Wausau Urban Community Gardens: Lawn and Garden Care. Keep garden spaces looking inviting and safe for public and gardener traffic. Weed and maintain garden beds. Equipment provided, or use your own.  Contact Paul at or 715-848-4884.

Blood Center of Northcentral Wisconsin: Blood Donations. Medical emergencies, cancer treatments and surgeries do not cease during a pandemic and blood is still needed. Healthy donors give one pint of blood to really make a difference!  Call 715-842-0761 to make an appointment!

Boys and Girls Club of Wausau Area: Donations of Snacks for Summer Help provide a healthy snack for club members in the summer: Pretzels, sun chips, Chex Mix, apple sauce, juice boxes, Gold Fish, etc. Contact Mao Thao at or 715-845-2582.
