A 35-year-old Merrill man is the victim of a theft of a trailer. The man had a flat tire on his trailer near the landfill and left it near the entrance until he could get it repaired. When he returned to check on the trailer, it was gone. The lock had been cut off and the jack holding the trailer was lying next to the road. The trailer is described as a steel tilt style 6’ x 8’ with three foot sides. The trailer was loaded with old shingles and an old toilet.
