Three suspects have been arrested in connection with an apparent double homicide this week in the Rusk County town of Sheldon, about 16 miles southeast of Ladysmith.
Police say 73-year-old Robert D. Rosolowski and 70-year-old Bonnie Mae Rosolowski were found dead in their home by a family member. The victims are a married couple.
Police have arrested 21-year-old Adam R. Rosolowski and 17-year-old Joseph W. Falk in connection with the couple’s slaying. An underage boy is also in custody and all three are being held in the Rusk County Jail.
The relationship between Adam Rosolowski and the victims is not clear.
Police have not specified a motive or the manner of death.
The Rusk County Sheriff’s Department is leading the investigation with the assistance of the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). They are also assisted by the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory and Wisconsin State Patrol.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information is currently available.
