WAUSAU – United Way of Marathon County continues to find innovative ways to connect people and services. This year the organization will host its annual Week of Action virtually June 15 through June 19.
Virtual volunteering allows residents and businesses to help in their own way while practicing safe, solo and small projects.
You are encouraged to snap a photo of yourself, colleagues and family participating and tag #mcliveunited or email [email protected] with your photos.
Here’s the plan:
June 15: Honor Flight Greeting Cards.
June 16: Thank a Small Business.
June 17: Why Give Wednesday. Take a photo of you and your family giving back, post on social media and tag #mcliveunited.
June 18: Thank a Healthcare Worker.
June 19: Friday Fun Bingo Boards. Complete one of the three bingo boards, post online and tag a friend. Boards will be posted to United Way’s Facebook page on June 19 at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
