A portion of Highway 29, eastbound, will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. June 15 and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. June 16 to complete pavement repairs, affecting the communities of Abbotsford, Colby, Unity and Stratford.

A detour will use highways 13, 153 and 97, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

Traffic has already been using the right lane and shoulder of Highway 29 because of road work in that area, however, because of deteriorating shoulder conditions, crews will shift traffic to the detour to allow completion of pavement repairs in the left lane.

Once work on the left lane is complete, traffic will use the eastbound Highway 29 left lane with a width restriction of 10 feet and a reduced speed of 55 mph.
