Thank a Veteran, Local Essential Business or Health Care Worker, or do roadside clean-up in your neighborhood, complete yard work for a neighbor, or choose one of the other ideas on the United Way Marathon County Week of Action  webpage :  Take a photo of you and your family doing good for others in our community and post on social media and tag us at #mcliveunited.

Red Cross: Temperature Takers at Blood Drives or Donation Centers. Screen donors entering a blood drive or donation center, following several enhanced blood donation protocols. Contact Lee at lee.borofka@redcross.

Response to COVID-19. Please call the agency first and consider ordering online and having in-kind donations shipped to the specific agency. Please call ahead and arrange with the agency coordinator.

Donations of Plastic Shopping Bags for Food Pantry Needed. Instead of throwing your plastic shopping bags away, donate them to The Neighbors’ Place. Drop off at 745 Scott St., Wausau, or contact Mallory at 715-845-1966.

The Salvation Army: Marathon County: Donations of Hand Sanitizer. Big or small bottles are needed. Contact Colleen at or 715-370-3431.
