One person is dead and a second person is hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Minocqua.
The Minocqua Police Department was called to the crash at about 7:45 p.m. on Squirrel Lake Road.
Officials say a male passenger in the vehicle died at the scene, while the female driver was transported to Howard Young Medical Center by ambulance. Police have not said whether the victims were adults or juveniles.
The crash is under investigation. The Minocqua Police Department is being assisted in the investigation by the Woodruff Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Minocqua Fire and Rescue and the Oneida County Medical Examiner’s Office.
No names have been released.
