WAUSAU – Management of WOW Family Entertainment Center is working closely with the Marathon County Health Department to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 after a person who tested positive for the virus was in the building over the weekend.

WOW, 1300 N. River Drive, is a restaurant and arcade venue that sits on the bank of the Wisconsin River. It is now closed until further notice.

Employees who have had close contact with the case will be notified and the facility will be thoroughly cleaned before reopening, the Marathon County Health Department said today in a news release.

If you visited WOW between June 12 and June 14, you do not need to be tested, but you should monitor yourself for symptoms, which include cough, sore throat, headache, fever and muscle pain, the health department said. Anyone who has symptoms should call their health care provider and request COVID testing.
