Nedra Lemke, 57, and James Lemke, 59, were shot to death outside of Nedra Lemke’s late father’s home, police say. Nedra’s father died two weeks earlier.

Police on Tuesday were dispatched to a possible burglary at the home, located in the area of Hwy. 106 and County Hwy. A in the town of Sumner. Upon arrival, a deputy found the bodies in the driveway and faced gunfire that was coming from the home.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation, the deputy returned fire before seeing black smoke coming from the house, which later went up in flames.

Police have identified the suspect as Nedra Lemke’s brother, 61-year-old Kevin Anderson, also from Fort Atkinson. He’s described as a white man, 6′ tall, weighing about 200 pounds with blue eyes and balding brown hair.
